Teresa S. Cronin

It is with deep personal regret that Village Realty Group announces the passing of our beloved realtor colleague Teresa S. Cronin on November 30, 2014. Prior to joining Village Realty Group on July 13, 1999, Terry Cronin worked as an original sales agent for the Burg & DiVosta Corporation who developed the Villages of Palm Beach Lakes in West Palm Beach and worked "from the beginning" at Bear Island, Villas of Bear Lakes Estates, Saratoga Bay, Saratoga Pointe, Stamford Village, Village of Sandalwood, Whitehall Condominiums in The Villages and Lands of the President, Maplewood and The Bluffs in Jupiter breaking local sales records and selling-out that development overnight.

In 2004, this semi-retired real estate sales veteran teamed up with a new rookie agent from Philadelphia, Barry L. Salandro, to become “Barry & Terry”- Top Producing Team at Village Realty Group from 2004-2013 with such strong cash sales she earned the nickname “Queen of Cash.”

Terry Cronin was the epitome of the resort elegance lifestyle in the Bear Lakes Country Club communities with an understated, sophisticated, personal style and years of dedicated real estate service to the Villages of Palm Beach Lakes and the Palm Beaches. Terry Cronin did not just sell real estate but also touched many lives and made new memories with grace and tenderness.

Terry and Dr. Joel Cronin, her late husband of 39 years, resided in Bear Island since 1987.

“We remember her grace and presence. She was sweet and natural in a world of artificial and saccharin, with so much class. It was a joy to know her…” Mohamed & Shahtaj Agha

“A woman of character of grace.” Paul & Marcia Cappuccilli

“She was a beautiful spirited woman with ambition and truly kind heart.” Elizabeth Rivera

We all recall seeing that slim figure dressed in white with a wide brimmed hat, vigorously striding down Wilderness Road and Bear Island Drive on her daily endeavor to maintain her adolescent figure. So many of us reflecting how we, too, ought to be as zealous as she was to pursue eternal youth. Alas, in her case this herculean effort didn’t pay off. We were often indebted to her for frequently appearing at our door bearing a steaming bowl of freshly made chili-con-carne. She just did that for neighborly affection...and ummm wasn’t it delicious! Terry was known to be an excellent cook and many of us were honored to be invited to her table for one of her celebrated and delicious roast duck dinners. Yes, amongst Terry’s many talents she was an excellent culinarian. Always impeccably attired, Terry’s choice of clothing was consistently fashionable--in the best of taste. She was one of the best dressed women we knew. Another of Terry’s endearing traits was her positive personality: frequently smiling and always in the best of humor. She was pleasant to be with. “…She was truly a lady…” Shohreh Geranmayeh, Coldwell Banker

“Terry Cronin was an outstanding real-estate agent and both Bill and I are saddened by her passing. She went out of her way to help us make sure everything about our house in Bear Island was up to date. On one occasion, Terry graciously invited us into her own house to show us the different way tile can be installed to enhance the interior of own home. When you selected Terry to be your real estate agent, she became more than just your real-estate agent, she became a life long good friend.”

“I have known Terry for many years but didn't get to know her til she partnered with Barry Salandro.

I will always remember her most for jogging all over the villages as I darted out in my car every day.”
